♥6/12/09 Part of God's Kingdom

These couple of days i've been listening to Leona Lewis's second album Echo and i'm in love with her even more now. Thanks Mary! (hi mary if your reading). Anywho, more to important stuff..... I finally got baptised today! So, officially i can now be called one of his children :D I shall give you a follow up of the baptism procedure: I had to dress in a white robe, my pastor asked me questions like, if i believed Jesus died for me etc, and then he placed his hand and gently descended me into the water.

So...... there's this song from Leona's album which i l-l-l-l-ove, it's called 'I Got You'. For me personally, this song is a reminder that although in life things don't always stay permanent, Jesus is.

Walking blind

Life has its special ways of redirecting your path. I should know, i had my fair share today. In less than a weeks time i will be accepting Jesus in my life and will officially be called one of his children. After what happened today, to be honest i don't know what to do. But there's no point pondering on the issue cause i will HAVE to make a decision or they'll keep on haranguing until i give them an answer. Although i don't know what's going to happen next or what's going to be the outcome/consequence of my decision and yes i am scared, either way i am going to have to deal with it head on. Truly inside i feel like crying, i feel so freakin' scared and loney(but i'm lucky i guess, to have family and friends) but like Tsalikis said, i have to face reality now after years of running away from it, i have to face the music. But from nextweek on, i know that no matter my decision Jesus will walk in hand with me and I will be filled with the Holy Spirit, guiding me in the directions and pathway God has made for me.

Now i just pray for faith in you, Lord.

Haircut + Favourites

Had a haircut a few weeks ago at Hennesylane, and not to be mean but i thought my hairdresser had early dementia cause she kept on asking the same questions over again and again, but is was cute right.......? My new hairstyle was inspired by Alexa Chung's, hoping it would look like this:






But mine looked nowhere as good as it does on hers *sigh* oh well i'm hoping that when my hair grows slightly longer, it'd look better than it does now.


Oh and i absolutely love Tallulah Morton, Jessica Hart, Karlie Kloss and Anne Watanabe(whom i just found out was the daughter of Actor Ken Watanabe who starred as the Chairman in Memoirs of a Geisha!) at the moment.There's just something about them and i love style! Here are pictures:

Yr 11 Formal

24/11/09: Yr 11 Formal at GWSC- fun night, fab dressing but undesirable food

Met at Mona's and then Nilofer's brother drove us to the venue and oh ho ho ho ho did he driveeeeee fast . Felt like i was in Fast and furious, anywho it was an exhilarating start for the night.

School Holidays have officially begun!

Finally finished my last exam for the year- chemistry. When it was reading time i looked at the paper and literally, my first thought 'This is so alien, I don't understand one bit'. Yup, i suck of Chemistry too. I did not study until the day of the exam, and it sucked cause it started at 8:30 AM so when i got to school, which was 7:30 ish, went to Sci-tech back foyer and made notes immediately. Turned out the 'notes' i made weren't very helpful. Though exams are now over, i feel more anxious and restless rather than glad because i'm dreading the results.

After exams, catched the train to Kim's house. She provided me food, shelter, water(though I didn't drink any, thanks anyway) and entertainment hahaha. Then went home, rang the door bell a billion times and no answered and i realised 'Dammit, didn't carry house keys with me and my brother's gone to work with my dad!' So, i had to climb over the gate, which i've done many times in moments like these and sat on the steps of my front door, then another realisation came to me that it was only 1:30 and that i had to WAIT MORE THAN 2 HOURS OUTSIDE until mum would come home. I considered walking to the library but it was too sunny and my hair was already too oily. So i decided to stay. I went to the backyard whom Roksi greeted me and started making 'herbal medicine' by pretending that my mum's plants were herbs.I would grind them up with a rock and rub it onto my skin 'imagining' it was very beneficial for my skin. Yes, yes only Kids do those thing, but that's where you're wrong! I am a kid, i'm just a big one. Nevertheless it kept me busy and soon my mum was home!!
Anyways before i was flipping through the new Big W's advertising paper and saw Courtney Chircop! She was on last year's channel 7 show, Make me a Supermodel and although she didn't win, she made it in top 3. Well she was modelling for Gossip girl clothes collection by Kai Aiyub. But what stunned me the most was that, i would of thought she'd model for a more higher brand not that i'm dissing Big W, you know what i mean? Exams nearly overrrrrrrr !

Did my accounting and general maths exams today. I thought accounting would be more difficult, but it was okay, not that i'm so brilliant with accounting, i actually really suck. Hope i did okay. General maths are alright, found skills easier though. Well last night at around 9, I finally got off computer(twitter), locked myself in my room with the intention of actually doing some 'studying' for once. Yeah, but knowing me, i went and had a little nap. Then i got up at 1 in the morning and started studying, but found myself scissors in hands and cutting my faded black jeans into shorts for summer instead ! I wanted them to look faintly like Erin Wasson's shorts. She always looks amazing in them. However mine turned no where as near as hers



I even made a bracelet out of the leftover jeans since I try to recycle anything i can. But the moral of this story was that i did end up 'studying' after making my failed version of Erin Wasson's denim jeans.

Oh and starting from now i'm going to be posting Bible Verses at the end of every post :)

Inspired by Asian

i think every girl dreams of being a model when they grow up, well for me that was the case. However it was always the
Caucasians modelling or posing in the posters, billboards and commercials, but residing in a white country i always found it hard to comprehend, even to this very day, why i never saw many Asian models doing so. And yes the answer is evident, that's cause i'm in Australia and even though there are large masses of Asians here there aren't as many compared to Aussies. But even in countries like the Unite States, how many Asian models do really get to the top? How many have modelled for Victoria's secret? None.

So once in a while when i do find Asians who have made it in the top modelling industry, to me they are like, a shower of inspiration. So today while on a fashion blospot, i found out about Daul Kim who is of Korean blood and an artist. Here are some pictures:
